Ok. Something at least miserably creative, but every day. I promise.

Hello, sketchbook. You are so empty. Didn't paint normally from last year's December.
What's new? New paper model. Didn't go as well as I expected.
This is a special space designed to be a meeting place for creative people: for painting, for reading poems, for making music. Pretty hard to describe all the details... Took me one night to make it + some previous preparations. It was always hard for me to work with paper this way, but I got over it this time :)

Any ideas? Have to work harder to have the time for interesting projects. Seems impossible.

What I actually did.

9 papers of English, a lot of illustrating material for the project, 2 orthogonal drawings :) started Descriptive geometry. Was making paper architectural model yesterday, so it's ok with that.
7 hours till morning - 7 hours for me to finish 2 schemes for tomorrow! :)

some text describing project, saving it all just for myself :)
english and orthogonals done!
well, to simple...but that's how nature have to look on architectural plots
cover of my album for all of this materials
drawing 1, variation of outline, have to be vertical here :)
drawing 2, have to be vertical as well
text written for the 1st part of a project, might be useful for me :)
graphic exercises with the ink!
expressive lines made to become an outline of a plan  :) have to be vertical as well
emotional image of feelings that is suppose to transform into architectural work in the end
ma favourite part of graphic exercises! :D
a piece of shit. nope, it's a work "picturesquiness and regularity" :D
an outline of a project setteled upside down here, but anyway can be watched from all the sides.

Whats gonna happen today?

Today I will try to devote all my day to work. So, what should be there by the end of the day (italics can be done later) :
1) 2 schemes and 2 orthogonal drawings.
2) paper architectural model in progress.
3) illustrating material to the project (text, combination of picturesqueness and regularity, watercolours+project in perspective, expressional lines, outline of a plan, graphic exercise - 6 papers in total)
4) English stuff; it's easy but takes time.
5) Studying materials conspect - concrete.
6) Academical drawig work.
7) Started work of the Theory of architecture and urbanism subject.
8) Conspects of Theory of architecture and urbanism subject.
9) Descriptive geometry (oh so many papers!)
10) History of Arts vocabulary.
11) Abstact on the History.

Let's see.

Didn't write for a long time. Many changes. Studying in Ural State Achitecture Academy. Still finding my feet in time management. Passed the first work. It was pretty bad for my level, but it's just my fault. Here's the pict.

Decided again that translating my thoughts would be useful. So hope I'll have enough time for that.

It just happened that be both needed the same at the same time. So it couldn't happen that it would be at the same place then.

I have 5 coincidences that tell me that coming to England this year is useless. And the thing is that I don't believe in coincidences but in destiny. Seems like all is ruining. Seems like all this year was just trash.
Ok, I'm 17 and I have cool and interesting life, good friends and opportunities to travel. Don't have to complain.

Here are some experiments with my pad. Well, am interested in what everyone sees there, but nobody ever read it. It has some special details that supposed to check how innocent you are ;)

Long time without writing.

Finally I got some time to write here.
I'm bothered with the thought that I won't understand anyone's speech when I'll come to Oxford this year. It's essential for me to make an effort now.
For this reason I got an idea that having an english blog helps to improve my language skills; so remembered about this blog.
A lot of different things happened to me recently. Am not talking about the exams and entering the university (as it was very hard but still not very significant for me). I really changed my mind and my notions about most of the aspects of my life. Seems that I'm opening something new every day, as it was with all of us in childhood. Well, maybe am growing up and it seems cute for me ;)
What about new works o'mine - don't really have them now as I was preparing for the exams and had to draw in academical technique for a long time. But I have some stuff I didn't publish untill now :)
Here is Dante's Hell finished, but I'd love to change it and the photo is terrible (sad that it's pretty usual for me). Lucifer here is scary and just a ghost, because it would be much more terrifying if he were there in his full image ;)

Anna Krasnova who made Poetical Vandalism with me (some notes before) was also working with Dante's creation, but she painted Dante's Heaven with Beatrice. I helped her a little bit with Beatrice's face.
Here is her work:

Another work we made was connected with Russian poets. We made it long time ago and also for the street, but didn't managed to hang it up yet.
From left to right Sergey Yesenin and Vladimir Mayakovsky. Yesenin was made by me, Mayakovsky was made by Anna Krasnova. Some of their poems are written, acrylic, spray and gouache paints are used.
Excuse me for my stupid facial expression.
Yesenin closer.

That's all for now; hope to have something new to write about soon!

Something new!

I finally changed myself and found something like self-harmony; would love to find a good place with indian meditations! Here's something new from me. My friend's portrait; there's a pinch of pop-art here, just because she's a model.
And a big illustration's progress. Dante's Hell.
La Divina Commedia,  Dante Alighieri

It's gettin' hard to finish it, because I filled with good emotions now.

Finally!

Finally we had finished our street artwork! The inscription says: "This time is hard for the feather." Like it's hard for the poetry, for describing ect.
The portraits and the frame are silver in real life, but the photo is bad... The time when this poets lived was called "The silver age of the Russian poetry".
We wanted our work to have social context. Besides that idea we want all the people know who this people are, so we have two helping points here; the first one is the phrase and the second one is their initials.
Here you can see:
Alexander Blok
Sergey Esenin
Vladimir Mayakovsky
Anna Akhmatova
Marina Cvetaeva

The photo was taken with my mobile phone...

And it's me today in my winter clothes and with stupid face.
I'd love to add more winter to this photo, LOL

B-days

Had two creative evenings. My mum and the friend of mine had they b-days these days, so I had to make something for them :)
The first one was for my friend, I  spent 4 hours or so making it. I was inspired by her photos near the graffiti-wall, so I decided to make my artwork with my graffiti-paints and markers + using stencil as I did with the poets. Making stencil this time was so hard, because she had no photos with deep shadows on her face and I had to draw them by myself. And finally it had really small details to cut them out. But I'm pretty satisfied with the result, 'cause I reached the effect of mystery (and it's really important - she's a mysterious person).

Another one was made for two hours, because I realised I haven't got anything for her at the morning of 14th - her b-day. Her portrait was made with natural materials and palette-knife :) I had another idea in my mind, but I haven't enough time. Anyway I hope to make another one with the same theme of close connection of the human and nature.
that's all :)
